Margaret France No-Pants Co-Ed Comedy Pageant
Finally,
something for the comedy fan and pageant enthusiast to
enjoy together.
The players:
6-8 contestants
2-3 judges
1 host/featured performer
The rules:
Contestants will compete in three categories, talent,
no-pants, and interview.
During the talent portion, the contestant will have a
maximum of five minutes to present their talent. The talent
may consist of any of the following, alone or in
combination: stand-up comedy, baton-twirling, tap dancing,
song, interpretive dance, dramatic monologue, ribbon-dance,
Gospel-praise dancing, spokesmodeling, juggling, taxidermy,
magic, and so on. The only limitations on the talent
portion is that it must be
performed live. Screening
amateur or professional video footage will not be
considered a live talent, though musical accompaniment and
the use of audience volunteers is acceptable. Judges will
score on the basis of poise, funniness, and relevance to
world peace.
The no-pants portion of contest requires contestants to
model an outfit that does not include pants. Shorts are
short pants, and forbidden. Things that are not pants
include: dresses, skirts, kilts, sarongs, saris, panties,
man panties, thongs (discouraged), long shirts, boxer
shorts, towels and bathrobes. This is not an exhaustive
list of things that are not pants. Scoring will be based on
poise, funniness, and relevance to world peace.
The interview portion will consist of giving an answer not
to exceed one minute to a question presented by a judge.
The answer may or may not include reference to world peace.

peace.
The show:
The pageant begins with a brief introduction of the judges,
then the contestants. The audience is instructed to throw
as much support as possible behind the contestant(s) they
feel is the funniest, be that funny peculiar or funny
ha-ha. (7 min)

The prizes:
Title of Miss Comediality, sash, tiara, $102.43 in small,
untraceable bills (yes, real money), also pride.
